Humble Beginnings
JE Civil Contractors was founded in 2013 by 2 ambitious Van Zyl brothers from Vredendal. They started out with a CAT416C Backhoe Loader, operating the machine themselves and servicing local sites with dedication and a shared vision of building a business focused on quality and professionalism.
Today JE Civils is a hands-on plant hire company specialising in road works, earthmoving and civil projects. We have over 15 employees, a fleet of machines including TLBs, Water Lorries, Tippers, Graders, Loaders, Excavators and more, and has standing contracts with reputable mines, farms and also completes smaller jobs!
